Fermi is one of the very first ICP instructors certified in London, UK dated back to 1997. He started roller-skating at age 7 and inline at 26. Also a professionally qualified Table Tennis England Sport Coach, Fermi has been coaching children and adults in sport of all ages for nearly three decades. (On water, Fermi 's favourite sport is wakeboarding.) As an open-minded avid learner from a professional background combined with sport knowledge and interest beyond skating, Fermi has an in-depth and unique perspective of learner's needs, a methodical approach to skill-building and an effective communication style. One of his favourite coaching quotes: "Practice make permanent; only correct practice make perfection". Fermi's coaching success has been rooted in his strength of communication, observation, feedback, tailor-made approach and his ability to explain and demonstrate complex concept and movement in layman's language and bite-size. Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English, Fermi is also a corporate coach in the financial sector, a youth mentor for Generation Success and a volunteer Chinese teacher for Hounslow Chinese School with extensive and hands-on experience mentoring and teaching. Fermi's purpose is to help as many skaters as he can unreservedly and wholeheartedly so that they can all benefit from the fun and the true spiritual joy that skating offer while making some friends along the way. This is Fermi, in his own way, giving something meaningful back to our society and expressing his gratitude to all masters and teachers who came before us and showed us the way. :-)
