I'm passionate about teaching kids and adults how to skate and have been doing so for over twenty five years. I hold Level 1, Level 2 and Slalom certifications with the ICP and have trained as an apprentice examiner in Singapore. I also have a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Teaching, Graduate Certificate of Science and Certificate III Fitness qualifications. I have 5 years roller derby roller skating experience and national coaching accreditations. I've taught roller freestyle (aka aggressive inline skating) and performed in various demos at shopping centres such as at the Sydney Royal Easter Show - see SkatingTeacher.com . As the Oceania representative for the Roller Freestyle Technical Committee I recently attended the 2025 World Championships as the Course Manager for Park and Street I own a considerable collection of rollerskates (quads), inline skates (recreational, slalom, aggressive aka roller freestyle) and Freeline | JMKRide skates and will not hesitate to help you learn how to skate. I've held lessons in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Cairns, Brisbane & Sunshine Coast plus via Zoom. I founded the group facebook.com/inlineskating - a community of over 22K passionate rollerbladers from all over the world and Strava.com/clubs/rollerblading with over 1000 people. I also create content for YouTube and TikTok.
